Carson Valley Medical Center | Healthy Carson Valley | Winter 2020

For the second consecutive year, Carson Valley Medical Center was voted No. 1 for Best Customer Service in The Record-Courier “Best Of Carson Valley” reader survey. At CVMC, we pride ourselves on going above and beyond for our patients—to the extent that we define our standard of care as striving to “knock the socks off” our patients and their families with the effort and thought we put into their care on every step of their journey to good health and wellness. With that in mind, this year our patient experience team established the Golden Sock Award to recognize individuals within our organization who have truly gone above and beyond to represent that ideal both in who they are and what they have done for our patients. The award is presented every quarter to members of staff who best represent this ideal with their efforts every day. The “Best Of ” award was announced to staff during one such Golden Sock Award presentation.
